Two interesting events involving our house cat Midge and doors happened this past week.
First, I was behind a door I had left ajar. Midge stood up and opened it with both of her front paws, rather than sticking her head through the opening.
Second, on a warm afternoon we were sitting outside and Midge was sitting inside the screen door with Kitty. Kitty started to stretch and scratch (he's declawed) the door frame. We yelled at him to stop, and he did and went back to where he was sitting. On his way back, Midge slapped his head.
